Learn About Our Barn & Community
  • Where did we come up with the name Falcon’s Landing? Falcon was a horse of Megan’s that inspired her to love dressage, he was a handsome jet black Trakehner gelding. Upon purchasing our property on Boettcher Farm Ct, Megan felt inspired to name the property after Falcon. Not only to honor him but to recognize that every time she sees one of the many falcons soring around the property that it’s Falcon’s sprit still with us today.

Falcon inspired Megan to be a better trainer and she continuously tries to honor that not only through the property bur most importantly in her gentle training practices.

  • Follow your heart to Falcon’s Landing where you can immerse yourself into the study and care of the rider-horse relationship. Located in northwest Fort Collins, the 35-acre farm is a welcoming equestrian community in the shadow of the beauty and peace of the Front Range.

Owners and operators Megan and Joseph Sorentino offer professional services and education for horse owners and equestrian students.

Our Community

Offering instruction, training and boarding — Falcon’s Landing is a small, warm and friendly circle of horses and horse lovers.

Too many barns forget that spending time with our horses should be a relaxing fun experience. At Falcon’s Landing we try to embrace these barn qualities as much as possible. To keep our community kind and focused on horsemanship we don’t offer open boarding. All boarders must have a horse in training (and therefore be in lessons) or be in weekly lessons with an instructor.

In the sprit of having fun, we try to do community building events throughout the year these include clinics, a Halloween party, annual walking races, in house horse shows, and other community building events.

  • “Just had my first lesson and it was terrific. A great facility and lovely people. Patient and very good at explaining things. Cannot wait to go back.”
